As part of the Andalucia Day celebrations, the Andalucian Parliament is open to the public from 11:00 to 19:00 today, with the guided tours allowing visitors to see some of the rooms, such as the VIP Lounge, which cannot normally be seen on organised tours throughout the rest of the year.
The first group of visitors will be shown around by the Speaker of the House, Fuensanta Coves.
There will be ‘live’ music, with three groups performing in different areas of the Parliament, both indoors and outside the building. The repertoire will consist mainly of renaissance and classical Andalucian pieces.
Visitors will be able to see, amongst other things, the valuable artworks housed in the VIP Lounge. Last year, the open day attracted around 4,000 visitors.
