A 37 year old man died on Saturday night in Málaga city after being stabbed during a fight involving five other people, four of whom have since been detained.
The fight took place in plaza Murillo Carrera. The victim was stabbed in the abdomen and suffered damage to his liver and pancreas. He was taken to the Hospital Clínico in Málaga where he underwent emergency surgery. However, the surgery was unsuccessful and doctors were unable to save his life.
Four of the five individuals allegedly involved in the fight were later located and apprehended. The search continues for the fifth man.
The victim was a Spanish citizen but originally from Colombia.
