The National Police in Málaga have dismantled an organisation based in Torre del Mar involved in the trafficking of narcotics on a large scale.
During the operation, codenamed ‘Punta Cana 10’, seven people between the ages of 27 years and 50 years have been arrested.
The gang, with each member responsible for a particular role in the sale and distribution of cocaine, operated mainly in Madrid, Málaga, Sevilla and Cádiz, shipping packages of drugs to various parts of Spain. Each package would contain between one and four kilos of narcotics.
During the raids, police also confiscated several luxury vehicles, a motorcycle, drugs press, precision weighing equipment, a wireless surveillance system and €6,000 in cash found behind a grill in one of the houses.
