The first night of the Spanish Moto GP weekend in Jerez has resulted in eleven injuries, although none of them serious.
The Hospital de Jerez treated four people who had fallen off their bikes, the Hospital Santa María in El Puerto treated two people who had been involved in a minor car accident and two who had been involved in a fight and the Hospital Virgen del Camino in Sanlúcar de Barrameda tended to three riders who came off their machines. All the injuries were minor.
