The Defence Minister, Carme Chacón, has announced that the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA) in Moguer, Huelva, will be the centre for experiments with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) for the European consortium EADS.
Chacón made the announcement, seen as an act of support for Huelva mayoral candidate Petronila Guerrero, despite the fact that EADS, who actually make the decision concerning location, have made no public statement.
EADS was also considering Trasmiras, Orense, as a possible location for the centre.
