The Spanish Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs (MARM) has been busy awarding prizes for extra virgin olive oil.
The Food of Spain Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2010-2011 award went to Manuel Montes Marín from Priego de Córdoba. The same oil won the Bitter Green Fruity Oil category.
The category Sweet Green Fruity Oil was won by El Labrador SAT from Fuente del Piedra in Málaga province and Best Organic Oil was won by Molí dels Torms from Els Torms in Lleida.
