The retail chain PC City, owned by the British company Dixon Retails, is set to end its presence in Spain, closing its 34 stores and affecting 1,224 staff.
The company stated that after studying all the possible options for PC City Spain, it has decided to formally start the process to cease operations in Spain.
The company cites a gradual decline in sales and losses accumulated by the chain as reasons for the decision. In addition to the 34 stores, the e-commerce web business will also be affected.
The closure will not affect the guarantees and obligations that the company has towards its customers and assures compliance with all the benefits of after-sales service programs.
