Budget airline Blu-Express (www.blu-express,com) start today, Friday, with twice weekly flights from Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén airport to Fiumicino airport in Rome.
Flights will be every Monday and Friday and then the frequency will be increased during the period June 29th to August 31st.
Blu-Express, owned by Blue Panorama airlines, is a relative newcomer to the low cost end of the market. They currently offer flights from Granada to Palma de Mallorca, Melilla, Madrid, Barcelona, París and Milán.
Today’s first flight will have a total of 80 passengers on board.
