The prizes have been awarded for the literary contest VIII Certamen Literario de Cartas “Nerjamujer”, the theme of which was ‘letters to woman who fought for equal rights’.
There were 38 entrants from throughout Andalucia and the first prize in the general section went to Manuela Padial Sánchez from Dúrcal, Granada, for ‘La mujer que sonreía en días de lluvia’ (The woman who smiled on rainy days).
Second prize went to Carmen Gómez Jaime from Nerja and third prize to José Marcelo Ruiz from Torre del Mar.
In the local section, first prize went to Doña Figueroa and second prize to Carmen Torres Sánchez.
