Barcelona are through to the final of the Champions League after a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid at the Nou Camp. A much better match than the first encounter (couldn’t have been worse) with plenty of attacking football played at a frantic pace.
One just wonders what might have been if Real Madrid had adopted this attacking style in the first leg.
Pedro put Barcelona ahead in the second half with Marcelo getting the equaliser for Real Madrid. Lionel Messi was a handful throughout the match, tirelessly covering every blade of soggy grass and Cristiano Ronaldo also impressed with his work rate.
The result, though, after the first leg, wasn’t really in doubt but it was entertaining stuff.
