Under the theme ‘Art in the Street’, around one hundred craftsmen and artisans are participating in the third Zoco de Ballix near the old fortress in Vélez-Málaga, the event continuing until Sunday.
In addition to the displaying and selling of traditional Andalucian wares there will be a number of performances, including Suhail Serghini and singer Benjamín Escoriza on Saturday from 21:00 to 23:30 and the group Canteca de Macao on Sunday at 22:00.
The crafts market is usually held in calle Real but, as the street is currently undergoing repairs, it was decided to move it to the area near the fort. A bus service from Carmelitas to the Fort is in operation.
