The Málaga Provincial Court has dismissed an appeal by a Local Police officer against the archiving of a complaint against the Councillor for Local Police, Jonathan Méndez.
The police officer had denounced the Councillor for prevarication. The case related to an incident in September 2009 when the officer was suspended for nine days for using police computers to access the internet for private purposes.
The Provincial Court ordered the Local Police officer to pay the costs of the appeal. A total of four cases brought by SIP-AN members against various Local Police functionaries have now been dismissed by the Provincial Court.
