Four goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and one each from Sergio Ramos and Kaká were enough to see Real Madrid safely past Sevilla, the final scoreline 2-6. Negredo bagged a pair for Sevilla.
No change at the top, though, as Barcelona also won, 2-0 against Espanyol, to maintain their eight point advantage. A goal in each half, the first from Iniesta and the second from Piqué, were enough to keep the Catalans on track for the championship.
Valencia, pretty secure in third place, eased past Real Sociedad 3-0 with two goals from Soldado and one from Jonas.
Villareal are also pretty secure in fourth place, despite only managing a draw at Mallorca.
