The Court of Contentious Administration in Málaga has provisionally rejected the complaint made by the Nerja Council relating to alleged irregularities in the tender process for equipping the Nerja History Museum.
The Court ruled that, since the Nerja Caves Foundation subsequently modified and amended the conditions relating to the tender process, the original complaint by the Council is unfounded and has therefore been dismissed and filed.
Both sides, naturally, see the ruling as vindication of their respective actions.
The Manager of the Nerja Caves Foundation and PSOE mayoral candidate sees the ruling as showing that the Council was wrong to make a denuncia for alleged irregularities.
The PP spokesman José Miguel García sees the ruling as a confirmation that, since the tender process had to be amended, the original tender process was in fact illegal.
The Nerja History Museum remains closed.
