The Minister for Economy, Carmen Martínez, yesterday visited the Axarquía to support the PSOE candidates in Nerja, Torrox and Vélez-Málaga, namely Ángel Ramírez, Francisco Muñoz and Salomé Arroyo.
The Minister criticised the governments of Nerja and Torrox (non-PSOE) for not creating enough jobs via the Plan Zapatero and Plan Proteja but praised the government of Vélez-Málaga (PSOE) for its efforts under the various schemes.
Vélez-Málaga, incidentally, is heavily in debt.
The other main political news of the day, particularly in Nerja and Vélez Málaga, appears to relate to who has been placing campaign posters where and how many, with various complaints being lodged. Glad to see the politicians are utilising their time efficiently.
