The first ton of blueberries from Huelva, fortunately somehow overlooked by the German health authorities, has been successfully exported to Brazil as part of an experiment to open up a new market in that country.
The export was made by the Agromolinillo cooperative in Moguer after a successful foray into the Asian market where, in May, they exported a total of 40 tons of blueberries and raspberries to Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
Next week the company plans to export another two tons of blueberries to Brazil, the low amounts being used as a market test and a reference for future campaigns.
