Marine Rescue and Guardia Civil patrols have located the body of one of a possible seven people missing from a boat carrying illegal immigrants which was intercepted on Thursday morning off the Granada coast.
The boat, an inflatable dinghy, was intercepted at dawn on Thursday morning off the Granada coast near Motril. The boat was apparently in appalling condition and half-submerged.
According to some of those on board, as many as seven people, including women and children, are missing. The first body, found about four miles from where the boat was intercepted, is that of a 20 year old male.
