Guardia Civil officers in Los Alcores, Sevilla, have arrested a 20 year old youth in connection with the stabbing of another youth outside a disco in Mairena del Alcor.
The incident occurred near a nightclub on the industrial estate in Mairena del Alcor when the victim and friends were approached by a group of youths who they had never met before and who began acting in an aggressive manner. They ran away but one of them was caught, beaten and then stabbed him in both legs by one of the group.
The police had very little data to go on except a name shouted out by one of the assailants, but it turned out to be sufficient to make an arrest. This particular individual was known to the police and had a history of similar attacks.
The injured youth was taken to hospital in Sevilla where, when interviewed, was able to recognise a photo of the arrested youth as his attacker.
