Two people have been arrested in Sevilla in connection with drug trafficking and police have seized over three kilos of cocaine from South America.
Guardia Civil officers at Madrid-Barajas airport detected five suspicious packages sent from Uruguay and obtained a judicial order to carry out a controlled delivery to the designated post office in Sevilla.
After several days of monitoring, police arrested 46 year old F.N.M., a resident of Pino Montano, Sevilla. A few days later, police tracked and arrested R.O.B.S., a resident of Carmona, as the recipient of the drugs and ringleader of the organisation.
Police seized a total of 23 packages containing 3.3 kilos of cocaine and the two detainees were charged with crimes against the public health.
