Operation ‘Olvido’ has resulted in two people being detained in Nerja in connection with the growing, distribution and sale of drugs.
Sniffer dogs were used during a raid on a house in Nerja and a total of 16,770 kilos of hashish was found already prepared for sale along with 3,800 kilos of marijuana, 6 cannabis plants, precision scales and various other related items.
Also found on the premises were firearms, namely a 9mm automatic, two starting pistols and two air guns.
Two people have been detained during the operation, 33 year old A.A.J., a Polish national, and 43 year old A.V.B., a Spanish national. The charges included crimes against the public health, illegal possession of weapons and one count of receiving stolen goods.
