Police in Guadix have arrested a 63 year old man on charges of selling fake work contracts to foreign immigrants.
The man, who has a prior criminal record, charged immigrants between €400 and €900 for the dodgy contracts. He was registered as self-employed freelancer but had no business infrastructure, had not paid any Social Security and had not registered any business activity.
It is thought that at least six immigrants had been duped by this man.
