National Police officers in Granada have arrested two youths in connection with the disappearance on Tuesday of two teenage cousins, both aged thirteen years. The girls were located on Wednesday about four kilometres from Granada city.
The two youths, aged 16 years, have been detained on suspicion of involvement in the disappearance of the two girls in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The police investigation focused on determining the movements of the girls after they were reported missing and where they spent Tuesday night as it became apparent that they had not been out on the streets.
After the girls were located on Wednesday they were interviewed along with their parents and then underwent medical examinations.
