Police investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at her home in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, have initially ruled out domestic violence as the motive for the murder.
On Friday evening, neighbours called the police after they heard a very heated discussion going on in the house, located in calle Alfarero. When police arrived they found 50 year old B.V.M., an ethnic gypsy, dead from gunshot wounds.
The general hypothesis now is that this was a ‘settling of accounts’ and not a case of domestic violence.
No arrests have so far been made.
