Around 215 RENFE trains of all types will be affected in Andalucia on Monday September 26th and Thursday September 29th as a result of strike action by the CCOO union.
The strikes are in protest at plans to reorganise the rail freight section and plans to allow private capital to be invested in new subsidiaries, something the union says will harm the employment status of workers.
Stoppages on the 26th will be between 07:00 and 09:00 and 20:00 to 22:00. On the 29th the stoppages will be between 11:00 and 15:00 and 18:00 and 22:00. Commuter trains will, therefore be affected, as well as medium and long distance services.
Minimum service levels will be in operation. The best bet would be to check before heading off on a journey on either of these days.
