There were two low intensity earthquakes recorded in Andalucia today, Sunday, both centred around the town of Mazarrón in Murcia.
The first of the eartquakes, measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale, occurred at 04.40 and was felt in Mazarrón and the nearby towns of Lorca and Fuente Álamo.
The second quake, measuring 2.6 on the Richter scale, occurred at around 06:00, also centred in Mazzarón. About a dozen people called the Emergency Services to report the quakes but there have been no personal injuries or damage to property.
