The Ministry of Health of the Junta de Andalucia has apparently written to the Council urging it to complete the land reassignment changes to enable the new Health Centre project to move ahead.
The Council appropriated the lands in 2009 but, under the PGOU (General Plan), these lands are classified as for educational purposes and the Ministry of Health is insisting that this classification be changed before anything can be done.
The reclassification has to be approved by the Ministry of Housing and Planning.
One wonders why two ministries of the same government can’t sort out the matter between themselves, although this would of course be far too simple and logical.
