The Blue and Whites seem to be losing their way a bit at the moment, this evening losing 2-0 at Rayo Vallecano. Boteljo put Rayo ahead after just 7 minutes and Tamudo added a second midway through the second half.
Meanwhile, Levante return to the top of La Liga after a 3-2 win over Real Sociedad. Real took an early lead through Estrada and it wasn’t until the second half that Levante first drew level courtesy of Nano and then took the lead with a goal from Valdo.
Levante made it 2-2 with just four minutes remaining with a goal from Martinez Berridi but the visitors were not done yet and a 90th minute strike from Rubén Suárez snatched victory for the new boys and took them back to the top of the pile.
A late goal by Alba was enough to see Valencia beat Real Zaragoza and consolidate fourth place in La Liga.
