The mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, and the manager of the Andalucia Land Board (EPSA), Juan Alcaraz, held a meeting a few days ago to address possible technical and legal solutions to unlock the viable urban development of the Castillo Alto industrial estate where many owners oppose paying redevelopment fees they consider ‘excessive’.
Amongst the proposals being considered by technicians from both administrations is to study an exchange of land rights that EPSA holds in the area for other plots suitably registered in the current PGOU (General Plan) for Nerja.
