The PP senate candidate for Málaga, Joaquín Ramírez, has visited Nerja and announced that, should his party win the general election, the Nerja sewage plant will be a ‘priority’ as Nerja is the only major town on the Costa del Sol without such a facility.
In addidtion, Joaquín Ramírez stated that other projects such as the promenade at El Playazo, the stabilisation of Torrecilla and El Chucho beaches and the repair of the walkway from Calahonda beach to Burriana beach (Paseo de los Carabineros), would also be carried out.
Much better than keep debating and passing resolutions to declare it a ‘priority’ would be to actually build the damn thing!
Geoff Dodd says:
Why am I a bit suspicious of comments like these just before an election. Isn’t Spain in the mire financially and cutting back on these sort of projects.
