The Viajes Verano Azul travel agent office at the side of the iglesia El Salvador is now closed until March 2012. Those wishing to book anything with them will have to go to their main office at the bottom end of calle Chaparil.
There are now quite a few good tapas bars at the western end of town, enough for a decent tapas run! Once quite spartan, this end of town has been slowly developing over the past couple of years.
The Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos has become a very good area for restaurants and now the tapas bars are sprouting up all over the place. Some good ones are: Sevillano, Taller de la Tapas, Pepe Moles, La Bodeguilla, Candela, Los Pescaitos, Vinoleto, La Tahona, Fin de Siglo, Torre de las Guardas and the new El Tapeito. And all in a relatively small area.
So much for the election promise of a sewage plant if the PP got in. Two days now, and nothing!
Lovely day again and there were a couple of people swimming at Calahonda beach this morning.
