however if it is the dreaded sewage issue in the quiet months, god help us all from blighty who come to nerja for its charm, beautiful scenery, restaurants , tapas trail and of course the beautiful sewage free seas, especially from the calahonda beach, where i will be spending many a day of my holiday time in the summer of 2012. nerja tourist board, please ,please, make 2012 a sewage free zone, I was ill last year 2011 from an unusual bug? which also affected several bathers along the calahonda seafront? I cannot be specific about the cause of my holiday tummy, however, it was apparent amongst the many brits who frequented the beach for their annual holiday.
I look forward to my holiday in a most beautiful magic place in spain, and hope for a clean beach with the sewage issue becoming a talking point of the past.
