The Local Police in Mijas have recommended moving the pedestrian crossing on the A-7053 (Camino de Coín) next to the deceleration lane of the A-7 motorway to a more visible location. This follows the death of a woman a few weeks ago at this crossing. The Council is asking the Ministry of Development, the body responsible for the road, to carry out this change.
