An earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale occurred last night southwest of Lorca, Murcia.
The quake occurred at 23:19, was 6 kilometres deep and was felt in the towns of Campillo, Cazalla, Lorca, Marchena, Puerto Lumbreras, San Cristóbal, Sutullena and Torrecilla.
