In the first eleven months of this year Spain received a total of 53.96 million foreign tourists, an increase of 7.7% over the same period last year.
The major sources of visitors during the year were the United Kingdom with 13 million tourists, up by 9.2%, Germany with 8.6 million, up by 2.6%, and France with 8 million tourists, up by 4.5%.
In November, over three million international tourists arrived in Spain, representing an increase of 3.6%. The Canary Islands, Cataluña and Madrid were the regions receiving the most visitors.
