A couple were injured early on Monday morning after they were attacked by three Dobermans in Elche, Alicante.
The couple were filling up their car with petrol at a filling station on the Carrús industrial estate at 07:10 on Monday morning when the dogs pounced.
The dogs had apparently escaped from a nearby factory through a hole in the fence made by thieves earlier the same morning.
The couple ere treated for superficial wounds to the hands and arms, given tetanus shots and antibiotics and later discharged from hospital. The dogs were tracked down and have been returned to their owner.
