The Sierra Nevada ski resort has a total of 60 kilometres of pistes available this weekend including the first ‘black’ run to be opened this season.
The run, the ‘La Fuente del Tesoro’, starts at Loma de Dílar and then joins the Tubo del Enebro before ending in the Río. The layout of the track is similar to that used for the World Alpine Skiing Championships in 1996, an event which saw Alberto Tomba win his first gold medal.
