The National Police have arrested a total of 53 members of an alleged international drug trafficking network dedicated to transporting large quantities of hashish from Morocco to Spain in large tonnage lorries.
The leaders of the organisation were located in Barcelona, Terrassa and Sabadell (Barcelona) with other members in Sevilla, Almería, Málaga and Denia (Alicante). During various raids, police seized 3.5 tons of drugs, one million euros in cash, 40 vehicles and over 200 mobile phones.
