A 35 year old man has been arrested in Manilva, Málaga, on suspicion of carrying out at least five bank robberies since 2010.
The first robbery was committed in June 2010 and the robber even attacked the same bank twice, although one year apart. He was arrested at his home after a long police investigation.
The man wore masks, gloves and disguises during his robberies, often leaving false clues for the police. He carried a pistol to intimidate the bank staff and got away with at least €36,000.
During the raid on his home police found various disguises as well as a large calibre pistol. He has been remanded in custody.
