A 34 year old man has been arrested in Valls, Tarragona, in connection with the death of his girlfriend’s five month old baby.
Police were called to a house in Valls on Friday night where a baby had apparently died from accidental asphyxiation. However, following an autopsy carried out this morning, there is reported to be evidence of criminality and police have arrested 34 year old Emilio C.C., a Spanish national and resident of Valls.
The police investigation into the incident is continuing.
