Workers at Autobuses Castillo in Jaén have voted to go on indefinite strike as from January 23rd in protest at not having received their December pay and bonus payments.
The bus company are apparently not in a position to pay the outstanding wages until they themselves have been paid by the Council.
The workers claim that the non-payment of their wages is causing economic hardship in their homes resulting in embargoes or the cutting of power or telephone services. Around 80 people are employed by Autobuses Castillo.
