Real Madrid came from a goal down to beat Mallorca 1-2 on Saturday night and, at least temporarily, increased their lead over Barcelona at the top of La Liga to eight points.
Hemed put the islanders ahead late in the first half and it wasn’t until the 78th minute that Higuaín levelled the score. Callejón then scored the winning goal with five minutes left to play.
Meanwhile, Griezmann scored the only goal of the game to give Real Sociedad a surprise 0-1 win over Valencia and Sevilla played out a 0-0 draw against Espanyol.
