The transport concessionaire in Jerez de la Frontera, Linesur, was today unable to fulfil the minimum service requirements related to their strike action which meant that around 1,000 people in outlying areas were effectively cut off.
Linesur did not have the money to buy fuel for their vehicles, having only just managed to get credit on Monday for around 2,000 litres of diesel.
Linesur employees are engaged in industrial action in protest at not having been paid for over three months.
