Police in Gava, Barcelona, have arrested a 60 year old man suspected of being the contracted killer of a woman in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, last September.
In August 2011, a gunfight in Mérida between rival families left two dead, two wounded and 15 people arrested. Police also confiscated 12 guns. The dead were members of the same family so the family sought the aid of criminals in order to take revenge.
The detainee moved from Barcelona to Cádiz, carrying out his killing in September. He shot his victim several times in the neck. The subsequent police investigation tracked him to Castelldefels and Gavá. He was finally arrested near his home in Gavá.
