Part-timers Mirandés from the regional Second Division B are through to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey after beating Espanyol 2-1 and progressing on the away goals rule.
Rui Fonte put Espanyol ahead at the beginning of the second half. Pablo Infante equalised for Mirandés and then in the third minute of injury time César Caneda headed past Casilla to give the minnows victory. In the semi-finals Mirandés will meet the winners of the tie between Athletic Bilbao and Mallorca which is being played next week.
