The Finance Ministry has finally revoked the widow’s pension being received by Nemesio Antonio Pisonero, currently serving 26 years for shooting his wife and one of his children.
Pisonero has been receiving the widow’s pension for thirteen years, applying for the pension while he was in jail pending trial. In March of this year Pisonero lost part of his pension payments as he exceeded, with his own pension, the maximum figure of €2,400 per month.
The Finance Ministry commissioned a report to study a formula whereby the wife-killer would not be able to profit from her death.
