A gloriously sunny Sunday for the Nerja Donkey Sanctuary Fair, which was good news for all concerned.
As well as being able to wander round the sanctuary as usual and say hello to all the inmates – donkeys, mules, horses, dogs, pot-bellied pigs etc – there were various stalls and activities going on.
There was Indian head massage, a book stall, bouncy castle for the younger kids, cake stall, horse care stall, paella courtesy of Ayo, horse and pony rides for the kids, a jumping competition for young riders and a few more things besides.
It was a well-attended event and a great, leisurely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
