The rural bus company in Jerez de la Frontera, Linesur, is no longer able to pay for fuel for their vehicles and cannot therefore maintain even a minimum service during their industrial action, leaving 16 rural areas without a bus service.
The bus company has been obliged to keep all nine vehicles in the garage. The industrial action relates to the non-payment of wages for the past three months.
Meanwhile, the employees of the urban bus service, Urbanos Amarillos, are into the sixth week of industrial action, also in protest at unpaid wages.
