Jupiter and Venus may be 450 million miles apart in space, but because they are aligned in the same direction from Earth they appear just three degrees apart at the moment and are clearly visible in the night sky. Venus, due to being closer to the Earth, is the brighter of the two. This conjuction will last a few days more.
