Entertaining match between Valencia and Getafe, end to end action, and a result which loosens the Che’s grip on third place in La Liga.
Soldado opened the scoring for Valencia in the fifth minute and it looked like more would swiftly follow, but Getafe recovered quickly and a good move saw Rios head the ball home from a Gavilán cross.
In the 24th minute Miku put Getafe in the lead, also with a header and also from a Gavilán pass. After half an hour it became 3-1 as a free kick from Gavilán was deflected past the keeper by Bruno.
No more goals but still a very entertaining match and Valencia are no longer secure in third place with Levante and Málaga breathing down their necks.
