Police in Valencia have arrested a suspected Al Qaeda terrorist, known in jihadist circles as ‘The Librarian’, following an investigation lasting over one year and involving hundreds of Guardia Civil officers.
Born in Amman but a Saudia Arabian national, The Librarian managed one of the most important jihadist forums in the world and was involved with recruitment, indoctrination and the dissemination of terrorist activities.
The Librarian would spent between 8 and 15 hours each day spreading jihadist ideas and recruiting and arranging transport to Afghanistan and other countries for potential candidates.
Guardia Civil officers have been searching The Librarian’s home, located in calle Juan XXII.
